What Is The Proper Technique For Washing A Car?
Taking it to the garage car wash is NEVER a good idea, no matter how much time you have!
Remember that while it might seem like a chore at first, the more you do it, the faster you get.

It is not advisable to wash it in direct sunlight because it will smear both during the washing process and during the drying process, which is also necessary. I don’t have an outside hose, so I use my large garden sprayers and a conventional, high-quality car shampoo instead of the excellent “snow-foam” that some people use.
Use a high-quality wax once the car is completely dry. All automobiles have what I’ve come to refer to as “drip points,” which enable water to escape from door mirrors, underneath license plates, etc. Once you become familiar with these, you will need to keep an eye on them—and you will! Depending on how thoroughly you want to remove the water, it is not a bad idea to use a specially made dryer (similar to a hair dryer). I strongly advise applying a “Kiwami” wax, taking your time, and not letting it fully harden. I know it’s sad, but you might want to mask off any plastic to prevent annoying stains that, once you see them, you can’t “unsee,” plus, it’s really difficult to remove once it has hardened!
Utilize a quality microfiber cloth or cloths to buff off. Admire while you stand back!
How long it takes depends on how big your car is and how thorough you want to be.
However, be ready for an ‘hilarious’ neighbour to point out that, “You’ve missed a bit!” and then point to their car. Kick them in the balls or laugh heartily as if you’ve never heard that one before.
Also, neighbours (although other annoying twats are available) will say something like, “If you want, you may complete mine.” or, “You’ll make it rain!”. Ignore them! Better still, pretend you’re listening to something on an MP3 player and scream, “Eh? You what”? every time they speak; preferably with an annoyed expression on your face, if you can’t avoid them.
Do You Allow Daily Car Washing?

Wash, detail the interior, and use speed shine once per week.. Additionally, wax rather than speed shine is used once a month..
The tires, rims, and lug nuts should all be washed as well.
